The company, NHS Shared Business Services (SBS), was employed in the East Midlands, South West and north-west London to redirect mail for the health service. It was meant to pass on documents that had either been incorrectly addressed or needed re-routing because the patient had moved to a new GP surgery. Queen to receive 6m pay increase from public funds – BBC News

To help pay for the work at the palace, the percentage of the Crown Estate profits paid to the Queen will increase from 15% to 25% between 2017 and 2027. It comes as accounts revealed the Queen’s official net expenditure increased by 2m, to almost 42m, last year. The Queen and the Royal Family’s official travel cost the taxpayer 4.5m during 2016/17, up 500,000. Clarence House has also released its annual accounts, which showed the Prince of Wales’ annual income from his hereditary estate, the Duchy of Cornwall, increased by 1.2% – to 20.7m. Summer holidays: Longest delays from UK airports revealed – BBC News

International flights from UK major airports were delayed by an average of 21 minutes last summer. The longest delay was a chartered flight from Manchester to Dusseldorf, which was delayed by 779 minutes, or almost 13 hours, last September. Gatwick Airport experienced the most flight delays last summer, with 30% – or 107,825 – of all flights from that airport recorded to be delayed by over 30 minutes.
