'I won't tell if you won't.'Image: HBO Who can be trusted on a Game of Thrones set? No one. The answer is no one. Not the cast, not the crew, and certainly not the locals. And so as production of the final season approaches, let it be known that Game of Thrones will shoot many endings, maybe three, maybe five, probably more — upholding a Hollywood tradition of spoiler-proofing a TV narrative outcome with too much riding on it not to. Sonequa Martin-Green stars in an inspired reboot of the Trek franchise.Image: cbs I’ve lost count of the number of times my fellow nerds have rolled their eyes at the ongoing delay and behind-the-scenes drama of Star Trek Discovery. The show’s launch date slipped by 9 months; showrunner Bryan Fuller departed under unusual circumstances; CBS decided to screen it only on its $6-a-month All Access streaming service, greatly limiting the potential audience.  I can’t speak to whether consumers will flock to All Access for this one show. Stephen King’s It has audiences sufficiently creeped out just from the trailers, and the film’s killer box office performance proves we love to be scared. SEE ALSO: The striking differences between Stephen King’s ‘It’ and the ’90s mini series Message received, Georgie. Don’t disrupt the movie, or you’ll die. It’s not every day you’re forced to shield your child’s eyes while watching children’s television show.  Maya the Bee, a show on Netflix created by Studio 100 Animation and based on a German children’s book, came under fire this week after concerned mothers noticed a crude drawing of a penis in one of the scenes. Nope, this isn’t a debunk-able Disney moment—there are screenshots to prove it.  SEE ALSO: Netflix’s prices are insanely low—enjoy it while you can

‘Outlander’ says goodbye to one major character, but there’s hope for another

Image: starz This recap contains spoilers for Outlander Season 3, episode 3, “All Debts Paid.” Episode 3 of Outlander Season 3 is a pretty big deal for fans of Diana Gabaldon’s novels: Not only does it reintroduce a pivotal character in Lord John William Grey (all grown up and decidedly more dashing than the last time we saw him in Season 2, now portrayed by David Berry), but also closes the chapter on Claire and Frank’s tumultuous relationship in surprisingly poignant fashion. While the show has to omit or streamline countless plot points from the novels in the adaptation process […]
